Peace, Love and Real Estate . . .

Sandra moved into her new house.  It’s tucked away VERY far up into the Marin County hills.  Built in the 1970s, most likely by nouveau riche hippie drug dealers, the house is full of surprises (like the bedroom door with two sets of hinges – see below).

Minnie returns . . .

Minnie (pictured below on Stacey’s arm) made it back today from the animal hospital . . . A bit subdued and drugged and “carrying” a few medications that will be administered over the next week . . .

When all else seems to be failing . . .

I took another “progress” condition picture today (below) . . . When finance and other aspects of my life seem to be crumbling, my decades-long pursuit of an “above average” physique seems to give me some sense of, if not control then, at least manageability over this one area of my life.

I’ve picked up a few clients again and will help them with my “specialty”, radical physical transformations that take place over a 16-week time frame. I consult with them on diet, supplementation and training and work with them as though they were preparing for a contest at the end of the four months. This finite time period with a goal date that they can put on their calendar often helps a great deal when the going gets tough in the very difficult regimen that they need to follow.

Goodbye Bo . . .

I had a chance to see him perform about 10 years ago . . . Not at the top of his form anymore, but still a true “one of a kind” . . . There certainly will be no replacing him . . .

Back to personal training?

It looks like our fantastic economy may force me to pick up clients again as a personal trainer.

Below is a picture of me taken in the gym today . . . No, I don’t normally work out with my shirt off . . . It’s a potential “promo” shot for my return to the training “game”.
